For the wise men of the past says that nothings holds forever. Ash to ash, dust to dust. I chose to begin this blog to left memories of my Army experience behind, now that it's close to an end. It's also time for me to close this blog site down.

 As you all can see, many of the past events has indeed left strong impactful thoughts behind and I thank many of you who have helped in creating one of the best memories in the past 2 years. I begin this next phase of my life in another site, which is currently under construction. Thanks for your support.

Met Yz, HF and Cy yst at HArry's Pub yesterday night. Then we met John with his friends. I like the live band, they played the oldies and not bad, i like oldies and Jazz.

Most of us got drunk, CY left us without any manners, where got people leave halfway thru out a party 1!! no life. YZ and HF make a move too, leaving me behind as i am the most sober. Lame excuse. Stupid YZ ask me go party, then 11.30 PM GO HOME! WTF! I was ready to party the whole night man. Hai...

So I went back, listen to somemore music and drink 1 more pint of Beer. Then the effect set in and I was drunk. haha luckily got Deity rescue me last night, if not i dunno wat will i do man. =)

1.30 am and my eyes are wide open... I can't sleep!!! I am going to SIM to pay my school fees tomorrow morning... hai if only we can use CPF to pay our fees, then it will be less stressful to my parents. Well, the PAP should review on this, CPF is my parents hard earn money, but the gov control it so strictly because they are "worried" about our retirement funds.

But frankly speaking, how many old people really survived on their CPF? Most have spend their CPF to upgrade their lifts, flats or buy a super expensive small HDB le. Furthermore, if their sons and daughters get into NTU or NUS (both increase their fees recently), or POLY, they also use the CPF to pay. SO why can't SIM students use their CPF to PAY their fees? which is cheaper than NTU or NUS ( 4 years X $7,000) SIM students pays $24K in 3 years ??

Anyway using CPF is like taking a loan, we have to pay back with interest, so what's the big deal? Stupid rule. They probably spend our CPF somewhere else, thus can't let us take our CPF out as we wish unless it a GOV affiliated organisation, where the money goes round and round from 1 place to another under the same roof.  

Education is expensive and education is the only way for a Singaporean whose country has no resources to offer, to make it in society, to get a job, to survive. Well, too late, election just over, so have to wait a long 5 yrs to see some changes which will not affect me anymore.

Hai, Encik John posted out today.. and this is the weirdest posting I see in my life. Well, it's all politics, really feel sad as he posted out before I ORD, life goes on... First John, then Alvin, then maybe Derrick, then Ah loon... I am the last surviving guy in a cold and deserted office. facing strangers and waiting for time to pass. =( hate this.

Got so many people jio me go blading, Friday, Sat and Sun. Kaoz... but I can only go for 1. Did some reflection today as I can't sleep... I feel that I make time for people, but people may not make time for me, I go easy on certain things but people make things difficult for me, Is there really a balance in life forces? What if I reverse the table, will it changes accordingly to theory? Make things difficult for people and others go easy for me, be selfish and people be selfless to me. hmmm, well, I will not try, cos it's not worth trying.

Nice guys are always the loser on earth but winner in heaven, I am not a nice guy, just trying to be nice, so I hope i keep trying and maybe I will find heaven on earth...

Went back to office today, lack sleep... cause couldn't sleep last night.. the moment I close my eyes, my mind will be preoccupied by thoughts. Finally got to sleep at bout 2AM, however, I woke up at 4AM to drink water. Think I drank too much baileys and did not drink water.

SOmehow I managed to convince myself to get out of my cosy bed. Bathe and carried the heavy duffel bag back to camp. Wow, the last time I step into my camp was exactly 1 month ago! Got no mood to work, anyway there isn't really anything important to do, cause a major exercise just over, now every1 is slacking in the office.

Daniel (My course mate) agreed to help me do my duty on the 24 of May. Hai, I kanna 2 times this month and worst still, on the 24 I got ATEC and Range at the same time. So by right I should not have any duty on the 24, but in order to save trouble of asking the duty planner to change, I decided to sought out on my own.

I applied for my leave today, the whole of JULY will be on Off and leave and then in August I will ORD lor!! Can't wait for that day. Suddenly got a very strong craving to go and study, and study real hard. Maybe Yizhong is right. The last 3 months before you leave the force is the longest 3 mths in your life. Zzzz Sian ar.

Besides the Voting, I went to trace house to pass her the puzzle... She can really do puzzle lor. Wah lau aye, when I called her this morning she already complete 3/4 of the 1000 piece puzzle. Diaoz... I see puzzle i sleep, she see puzzle she high... weird. Anyway she brought me a t shirt for my bday, cool. Never expect anything from her. haha well nice surprise. Thanks trace.

I went to play MJ with Serene and her boyfriend Kelvin + derrick. WOn $5.30, so peiseh cos I told Kelvin not to return, but he insisted, furthermore he treat me eat MAc lei... hai, so peiseh.

Today, My bro in law, derrick, derrick wife, weijing and leewei come to my place and have dinner, followed by MJ... OMG MJ again. Leewei duno how to play MJ so i got to teach her, she damn lucky, 5 TAI in her first round and she won without realising what happen. haha The funniest thing is tht by the time she stop playing, she still dunno what's happening. I think I am a bad teacher.

Well, it's a good weekend. sadly all good things end. Back to work tomorrow. Duty this wednesday. Life goes oon... long and winding road to ORD.

Is our vote secret? Why is there a serial number on our ticket? and why is that serial number matched to our names? and Why they need to do that? Voting is not 100% secret. If they want to, they can check who vote for who. Hmmmm.... "Jian"

I have been enjoying myself this WHOLE week, after my bday celebration, I went to AMK st 51 to listen to the WP rally. The crowd was overwhelming and unbelievable, but atmosphere is strange. When I look into the face of those attending the rallies, they only show me that they are afraid. Why? because, in the past opposition have been sued till they are broke. The cab driver that bring me there dare not listen because he scared he get caught...

Some people scared that their votes are not SECRET and the ruling party can check who is loyal to them and IF, I say if the voters happened to be in a government organisation, their career will be destroyed.  Are all these MYTHS? Why are the people so afraid like we live in a communist country? we are DEMOCRATIC! Be brave about your choice!

Hai, I think the founding party PAP should make this area clear to the people, especially to our older generation that their vote is secret and there is no need to fear. If they ever check the votes, then I think democracy FAIL in Singapore.

I like election, too bad it only happen every 5 yrs. first time you see our GDP at 9% !!! Gov giving people back their money and lots of promises, sadly all these only happen every 5 years. the next 4 years you see our GDP at 0.5- 2% Progress package?? Pls dun think bout it. Sometimes I wonder are the figures realistic. hai.

 we will know the results tonight. till then we shall see.

Yeah! finally 23, i met Jol, yimei and paul at J8 Cafe cartel. took some pics with jol, and then proceed to the point optical to make my transition lens, then I rush to orchard to buy IPOD nano with yizhong, who has just completed his exams. Then we Rush to marina bay to have dinner with Gary,a stranger, YZ, CY and philip.

We then proceed back to cy hse for cake cutting. haha Feels weird, CY did not carry the box well, the cake was destroyed. =(

After eating the cake, we played mahjong and I donated $22 to CY and philip. =( no bday luck

I think I am crazy, skipped the driving exams today cause I dun have enough time to practise it. Spend the whole afternoon at sim lim square. Glad to learn that ashley is opening his shop at Clementi=)

23 yrs old, what have i achieve so far? An O level, a Dip, complete NS. looks like I have to work harder this year. Nothing great to brag about. I hope that when I am 33, I can say I got my 5 Cs and a happy family. Work Hard Thad!!!

a messy room become a not so messy room in just 3 hrs... because a free labour come and monitor a labourer by scolding and whipping him to clean up his messy room. haha thanks anyway.

Fixing Gundam model now, a bday gift from philip, i am always so weak in puzzle and model fixing. Yawnz, lose mahjong just now. Ah loon so lucky =)

I overslept today, so didn't go for my driving lesson. Decided to skip the driving test. Cos Sure fail 1 cos no time to practise. Some more 1 mth in taiwan, all traffic rules opposite liao. haha

This is what i brought for myself yesterday, an Ipod mini 6GB and a 6600GT Graphic card. Still need to buy "Mua Ji" for weijing, find stupid KOn for juline, graphic card for Changyao, Johny walker for Derrick... last min shopping for me. 10AM onwards till 5PM!!! Piang ar!!!

6 days RnR was the best thing SAF gave me. I Spend the last 3 days shopping and shopping, pubbing and clubbing and drinking, taking pictures with locals and shopping with them =) Wooohoooo cool!

Now in the internet cafe, that's the cheapest thing u can find in JIAYI town. for $20NT I can sit in an aircon room for 1 hr=) SO far, I brought a KON San + Ichigo pushie, a new shoe, some clothes and of all the items I brought, the most expensive is my new Burberry's Specs Frame=)

overspend le, till date spend near $700.... going to hit 1K soon, leaving for Taipei tml, heard from the gers that in taipei the things are VEry Expensive, so i decide to just spend my days sight seeing and eat the goodies. had my own version of "Shi ri lu kou". So far,been to Kaoshiong and ate the Ma jiang mian there, then when Qi shang to the Confucius temple and watch the scenery, wanted to go to Alisan today, but the fucking cab fare there is $2500 NT!!! fuck the cab drivers, they are out to kill. so went to JIAYI instead.

PUBBing here is 1000000X better than Singapore, but it's as expensive as Sg. But for the service they give it make up the loses, Value for money. Well, I still miss home, have been away since 13 Feb. Finally after this trip, I will stay in Singapore till I ORD =)

45% of the Goals I set for myself this year have completed, and by God's grace it's done =)

Leaving in 1 hour time =)  and by May 30, I hope 50% will complete. When I ORD 55% will complete. then next 45% is to be done 15 yrs time=) so Stay Focus and achieve it. Yeah!

Anyway Darlings, I will be back on 30 APRIL Morning, meanwhile It will be the first time I miss Easter and good friday, pray for me k?

Yesterday went pubbing till 2am at Harry's Pub at Orchard towers. Had 2 pint of Beer and a plate of fish and chips. met Alexandria from Mexico and learn a few spanish words from her.=)

Liverpool won the match which was quite expected.. I bet that arsenal will win Man U. But shit things happen, Man U won =(

It's a pity that the live band is on off today, if not the pub will be a cosy hide out place. Last day in Singapore for this month.LAST OVERSEAS TRIP IN ARMY AS NSF! although I know many more awaits me during my reservist years but that's 3 years later =) When I come back, UOL invoice should be at my desk liao. After doing 2 duties in MAY, I will be left with 1 more in JUNE.

June will be doing my FFI and going for my MA. JULY Clear leave, AUG ORD LOR!
